How a Chronic Sinus Infection Treatment Could Leave You Disabled

Anyone looking for a Chronic Sinus Infection Remedy wants a treatment that is fast, safe, and effective. Unfortunately, the ‘standard of care’ that many people get, which is Cipro for sinus infection or Levaquin for sinus infection, is not only the incorrect treatment, but could have you risking disability or other serious health problems completely unnecessarily. If you are unfamiliar with the damage these antibiotics can do, please read the Introduction to Fluoroquinolone antibiotics here.
The Fluoroquinolones and Sinus Infections
Levaquin and Cipro are in a class of antibiotics known as the Fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Antibiotics are special in that they work exclusively on bacterial infections. That means that they should not be given for viral, fungal, or parasitic infections since they simply will not work. Unfortunately, Antibiotics are Unnecessary up to 50% of the time.
For those taking Levaquin for sinus infection, Cipro for sinus infection, or any other Fluoroquinolone antibiotics, this could be putting them at risk for serious problems including.
- Tendon rupture
- Destructive Intestinal Infections
- Bizarre Brain Conditions
- A lifelong nerve condition called Peripheral Neuropathy
- Autoimmune Diseases
- Doubling the Risk of Aortic Aneurysm
- Even Death
Chronic Sinus Infection Remedy
Sinus infections are painful and frightening, and those who end up getting them once often end up experiencing them frequently. In medical terms, experiencing a health problem frequently is often termed ‘chronic’, and often requires different treatment than the ‘acute’ form of the disease, because many times they are caused by completely different things.
Bad Assumptions Don’t Make for Good Treatment
In the case of sinus infections, and particularly a chronic sinus infection, doctors often give treatment based merely on symptoms, just like they do in the case of Treatment for Bladder Infections. Most often this treatment is an antibiotic despite the doctor only ‘presuming’ that there is a bacterial infection. Unfortunately, in the vast majority of cases, the doctor’s presumption is incorrect, particularly when the sinus infections are chronic. In fact, chronic sinus infections are non-bacterial up to 96% of the time 1 2 meaning that doctors are only getting the treatment CORRECT about 4% of the time!
“Up to now, the cause of chronic
sinusitis has not been known,”
Mayo Clinic Researchers Drs. David
Sherris, Eugene Kern and Jens Ponikau
Well, WHY have they been giving (and are still giving) antibiotics as a sinus infection remedy for chronic sinus infections if ‘up to now, the cause hasn’t been known?” The study even admits to doing surgery on people without knowing the cause of the problem first! This study outright admits that they shouldn’t have been giving antibiotics, especially dangerous antibiotics like Levaquin, or doing sinus surgery all of these years?! And the two studies above were done in 1999 and 2009, so more than 15 years has gone by with doctors having the information that chronic sinus infections are not bacterial, while they are still treating them with antibiotics! Aren’t you going to see a doctor because the doctor is the ‘expert’? How could a doctor be an expert if he gets the treatment right only 4% of the time, in many cases?

Cure That WorksDr. Andrew Pugliese says that EVEN IF sinusitis is diagnosed as a bacterial infection to which cultures and sensitivities show that Fluoroquinolones are the right drug, this is often ALSO incorrect because the organisms most often responsible do not grow well in a Petri dish, and that giving Cipro over and over actually allows the worse organisms to grow better, creating a chronic infection that Cipro won’t treat, even if the culture says it will 3! So the evidence against using Cipro and other Fluoroquinolones for sinusitis gets stronger and stronger.
Fluoroquinolones and Prednisone
Additionally, in many cases the wrong cure of Levaquin or Cipro for sinus infection or sinusitis is given with a drug called Prednisone, or one of the other drugs in a class of drugs called Steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs, also known as ‘steroids’, but not the same kind of steroids that body builders take.
Any doctor that gives Fluoroquinolones for a chronic sinus infection has an over 90% chance of prescribing the drug improperly. Any doctor who prescribes a Fluoroquinolone with a steroid like Prednisone could be accused of committing malpractice because of the known dangers of the interaction between Levaquin and Prednisone. Unfortunately, this is still a common practice despite the overwhelming evidence of danger.
So, if you are looking for a remedy for a chronic sinus infection, using any antibiotics, particularly Cipro or Levaquin for sinus infections, could end up leaving you disabled or seriously injured… while not even treating your problem. Educate yourself on your own health, since many times doctors are not the experts they are supposed to be when Antibiotics are Unnecessary up to 50% of the Time, and even up to 96% of the time, as in the case of chronic sinus infections.

Hello!!! I took ciprofloxacin 1mg eardrops 2x a day for 8 days. It was suppose to be 10 but I quit after googling. I took it with cortisone. I usually took the drops hours after the cortisone. I don’t feel any pains that I didn’t have before …at least I think not but fear is out of control. I did try many antibiotics before this but nothing worked for the middle ear . Have I escaped being floxed? It’s two days since I have stopped. Is it too soon to tell. Thank you
